About 'Two Billion Dreams'

Home to a third of the world's humanity, India and Africa are today in the midst of an unprecedented renaissance and renewal. While India, the world's most populous democracy, moves to a new growth orbit, Sub-Saharan Africa, powered by some of the world's best-performing economies, is calling into question the old stereotypes about the continent. Despite formidable challenges, Afro-optimism is ineluctably here. The ongoing economic resurgence has fed dreams and unleashed the energies of overwhelmingly young people in both India and Africa. And, increasingly, the Indian and the African dreams are intersecting.
